CYGAM ENERGY INC. ANNOUNCES FILING OF ANNUAL FINANCIAL STATEMENTS AND ANNUAL MD&A
CYGAM ENERGY INC. (TSX Venture Exchange: CYG)
Calgary, Alberta, May 1, 2006 – Cygam Energy Inc. (Cygam) has filed the annual consolidated financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2005, the management discussion and analysis (MD&A) and additional information required to be filed pursuant to the requirements of the Canadian Securities Administrators. Copies of these documents can be accessed electronically through the SEDAR system at www.sedar.com.
Cygam is a Calgary based exploration company with producing oil and gas properties in Canada and extensive international exploration concessions. The main focus of the Corporation is the acquisition, exploration and development of international oil and gas permits, primarily in Italy, Tunisia and the Mediterranean basin. Cygam currently holds various interests in five exploratory concessions in Italy and four exploratory concessions in Tunisia encompassing approximately 4 million gross acres (approximately 3 million net acres).
